Red Bull Dance Your Style Heads To Salt Lake City

Red Bull Dance Your Style, a global all-styles Street dance event series, will hold a city qualifier competition at the Utah Arts Festival on June 20. The event will select top dancers from Salt Lake City to secure a spot in the upcoming South Regional Qualifier in Houston.
The series features a unique battle format testing dancers' freestyle and musicality skills against unpredictable mainstream tracks. Dancers showcase styles ranging from Hip Hop and House to Locking and Popping. Ultimately, the crowd decides who rules the dance floor by casting their vote for the winners.
Prelim judges Mijo, Micah, and Pandora join forces to select 12 dancers and four wildcards to form the Top 16 battle bracket with crowd voting. The top four dancers will advance to the Red Bull Dance Your Style South Regional Qualifier in Houston.
Josh Perkins will host the event,with sounds by DJ Skratchmo. Doors open at 6 p.m., with the competition scheduled to run from 7 to 10 p.m. MDT. Dancers who register will receive free entry to the Utah Arts Festival upon showing confirmation at check-in.
