Monsters Summer Finale 2026 Hits Los Angeles This July

From July 27–31, 2026, the Monsters Summer Finale will return to the Hilton Universal in Los Angeles. Bringing together dancers from around the globe, the five-day event offers rigorous training, auditions and industry insights designed to launch long-term professional careers.

The 2026 event balances studio training with professional development, highlighted by exclusive "MonSTARS" deep dives and the debut of the "Morphe" finale show.


Event Schedule & Programming Highlights


Monday, July 27: Registration & Kickoff

The event officially launches with registration and the Pro Shop opening at 10:30 AM. Dancers can then connect at the Opening Ceremony Pool Party from 3:00 PM–6:00 PM, followed by the Director’s Meet and Mingle from 7:00 PM–9:00 PM.


Tuesday, July 28 & Wednesday, July 29: “MonSTARS” Intensive Workshops & Battles

These days feature the MonSTARS sessions—exclusive two-hour masterclasses focusing on the creative process, history, and signature styles of industry leaders. Dancers in junior, intermediate and advanced levels will jump into daily warm-ups, intensive classes and official audition blocks. Evenings will feature competitive battle qualifiers and tournament rounds.The faculty lineup includes:

Thursday, July 30: "Monsters U" Professional Development

Shifting focus beyond the choreography, Thursday introduces Monsters U, a "choose-your-own-track" professional development program. Designed to provide dancers with commercial career-building tools, sessions will cover Money Management, Headshots, Hair & Makeup, and Styling. The evening will close out with Advanced Battle Finals and the premiere of the "Morphe" show, directed by Calvit Hodge and Diana Matos.


Friday, July 31: Final Classes & Showcases

The finale features the last round of dance classes split by age groups, a Director's Brunch, and the final encore performance of "Morphe."
