Embody Dance and Creative Arts Studio is gearing up for an exciting 2026-2027 season, with classes officially beginning on Sept. 14. The studio, which opened in Columbus, Ohio, in 2025, continues its mission of delivering exceptional dance education and creative opportunities that inspire growth, discipline and self-expression.

At the heart of the new season is a robust lineup of instructors. Embody has curated a faculty with a wide array of professional experiences and artistic backgrounds, ensuring that students—both youth and adult—receive well-rounded training.

Aysia Welch, owner and instructor emphasized the importance of the diverse faculty in shaping the student experience.

“Our faculty is such a special part of what makes Embody unique,” Welch said.  “We have instructors with different training backgrounds, professional experiences, personalities, and specialties, which allows our students to learn from a really diverse group of artists. For our youth program especially, I’m intentional about having instructors who understand that teaching young dancers is about much more than teaching choreography. We want our students to develop technique, confidence, discipline, creativity, and a genuine appreciation for the arts. With our adult faculty, we have artists who create an environment where adults can challenge themselves, try something new, and enjoy dance without feeling like they have to fit a certain mold. I’m really proud of the community our faculty is helping us build.”

With offerings ranging from Hip Hop and ballet to heels, the 2026-2027 season at Embody Dance and Creative Arts Studio invites dancers of all levels to join a community dedicated to artistic excellence and personal growth.

“I’m most excited about how much our fall schedule reflects what Embody is really becoming,” Welch said. “We’ve grown our offerings in a way that allows dancers at different ages and stages to find a place here. We’re also bringing in a wider variety of styles, so there’s an opportunity to explore something familiar while also stepping outside of your comfort zone. I’m excited about creating a schedule that feels like an invitation to experience dance in different ways. Whether someone is looking for structured training, a creative outlet, a way to stay active, or simply a community to belong to, I want Embody to be a place where they can find that.”

Registration for this season opened on July 25th with classes beginning in September. Visit Embodydancecolumbus.com for more information.
