MLZMvMnT to Host Fourth Annual Dance Showcase in Boston

Boston-based dance company MLZMvMnT will host its fourth annual showcase at the Mildred Ave Theater on July 18. The evening promises a vibrant display of live dance, creativity, and community.

Doors open at 6 p.m., and the show begins at 7 p.m. Attendees can expect performances by MVRZ alongside a curated lineup of local guest artists. The event highlights choreography and storytelling, with the program featuring original work developed by MLZMvMnT dancers throughout the year. The company will also provide its dancers the opportunity to present their own original choreography and personal style on stage.

The organization emphasizes that community remains the driving force behind the event. The showcase spotlights the talent within the local scene, bringing together diverse performers to celebrate artistic expression.

MLZMvMnT, which stands for MoveLikeZay Movement, trains dancers ages 16 and older primarily in Hip Hop, Commercial and Street dance styles. Founded in 2013 and officially established in 2021, the organization focuses on inspiring, educating and entertaining through dance. Founders Isiah, known as MoveLikeZay, and Alexis Feliz guide the company’s mission to nurture talent and foster collaboration in the Boston area.
