Construct to Host Street Style Theater Production in Nashville

Construct is set to premiere a groundbreaking theatrical production that brings the energy of street dance.


According to event organizers, the production, titled "A Nashville Cypher Story," marks the first street style theater performance of its kind to emerge from Tennessee.. The show aims to take audiences on a historical journey using its “cypher dialects” including Capoeira, House, and Breaking. 


Construct is an organization born out of the street styles dance scene, with a heavy foundation in Breaking. It also offers a House Dance class and are always welcoming dancers of other Street Styles to showcase, share or teach their art at Construct. 


The performance is scheduled for June 5 at 7 p.m. It will be held at the Andrew Johnson Theater within the Tennessee Performing Arts Center.
